AOD

It’s been periscope down the last week or two here at Atomic Overmind Press. With GenCon coming up fast, it was time to get our ducks in a row for all of you that’ll be attending the best four days in gaming in Indianapolis next week.

aop2004_web_borderDAR: Hero is Go!

It took a herculean effort on the parts of ourselves, Ken Hite, and the fine Darren Watts over at Hero Games, but The Day After Ragnarok: Hero Edition will be at GenCon! This 144 page perfect bound book detailing the world after the Serpentfall for the brand new HERO 6th Edition ruleset will be available at the Hero Games booth, and from us directly at Atomic Overmind Press (We’ll be camping out with our friends at Green Ronin Publishing). You can check out a preview of the cover at right!

The PDF will go on sale at about the same time, and the book will be hitting your FLGS right after HERO 6th Edition does. Be sure to keep your eyes open for it!

DAR: Savage Worlds goes Back to Print!

The original print run of The Day After Ragnarok sold through a bit quicker than we anticipated, so we had to scramble to get it back to print in time for GenCon. The good news is that we succeeded! A little bit of errata was addressed (courtesy of the razor-sharp Savage Worlds skills of Clint Black), and we’ll have copies of the book available at GenCon in three places: Studio 2 Publishing (home of all things Savage Worlds), Indie Press Revolution, and Atomic Overmind Press.

Studio 2 Publishing will also have the book available right after GenCon, and it’ll be available through your FLGS in early Autumn!

A Note about the AOP Store

Over the weekend, it came to our attention that there was a fairly serious bug in the Atomic Overmind Press webstore. This bug was preventing some people from combining purchase of PDFs and physical books. The issue has now been addressed and remedied. If you had a problem, please give the store a try again! (Thanks to Fred Hicks over at Evil Hat, and the excellent Chris Cumming for helping to hash the whole thing out.

  4. Any chance of seeing DAR for other systems? There are folks over at Paizo who are screaming for a cool Pulp game using Pathfinder ;)

  5. We’re toying with a few ideas, but have to be careful with how we allocate our time. We are entertaining ideas, however!
