Well, here it is, the 13th and final installment of Foreshadowing Ragnarok. We’re putting the final touches on The Day After Ragnarok book right now and expect the PDF to go on sale a bit later today (probably late afternoon EST). We’re also proud to announce that a print version will definitely be available, hopefully in time for the Origins Game Fair.
NOTE: Due to a few last minute tweaks needing to be made, we’re now set for a 10 AM Tuesday release. Thanks for your patience!
With that little bit of business out of the way, let’s move on to giving everyone one last taste of the world after the Serpentfall. The world is a very different place in the 1948 of The Day After Ragnarok, and the world map reflects that. Aside from the giant snake corpse draped across North Africa and Europe, the tsunamis, unearthly horrors, rogue Nazis and bizarre cults have reshaped the globe in many many ways. Click the map image below to get a look at what the Serpentfall hath wrought.

This is fantastic! Definitely ordering it as soon as it comes out.
Any chance a PDF/Print pre-order’ll be available? I’d love to pin that down immediately.

Glad you like the map! Ken and I spent a lot of time try to make it really sing.
There absolutely will be a combo deal. I’ll have more details for you this afternoon.

And when is Origins? (for us non-genius game designers)
By Bill on Jun 1, 2009
The Origins Game Fair is from June 25th-28th, in Columbus, OH.

Monster Island is marked on the map. This could well be the best thing ever.

Is this still coming out today? I’m jonesin’ for DAR pretty bad.

Tomorrow morning, 10 AM.
I had to take a little extra time to tweak a few things. The book is done, all I need to do is get it up and in the store.
See you tomorrow morning, I hope!

I’m very amused by the fact that the bit of Antarctica we can see on the map is colored “Nazi-Influenced”…

Lets just say that the color is NOT an accident. All those Nazi flying saucers have to land somewhere.
