With books safely in Kickstarter backer’s hands, it’s nearing time to release Kenneth Hite’s Tour de Lovecraft on the wider world! The official release date is the week or March 21, but North American fans can pre-order both Tour de Lovecraft: The Tales Expanded Edition, and the brand new Tour de Lovecraft: The Destinations now in the Atomic Overmind Press store!
Tour de Lovecraft: The Tales is wide-ranging and friendly journey through H.P. Lovecraft’s tales of cosmic terror and wonder, and provides the ideal companion to the work of the twentieth century’s greatest American horrorist. In this new Expanded Edition, author Kenneth Hite widens his coverage to include Lovecraft’s collaborations and revisions, the sublime sonnet cycle Fungi From Yuggoth, and highlights of HPL’s nonfiction including “Something About Cats” and Supernatural Horror in Literature.
In Tour de Lovecraft: The Destinations, Ken expands on his “Lost in Lovecraft” column in Weird Tales magazine, and conducts a second tour of Lovecraft’s settings: from Arkham to Antarctica, and from New York City to Hyperspace. Tour de Lovecraft: The Destinations drives the hidden routes connecting seemingly unrelated tales. It follows Lovecraft’s tracks into the uncanny landscapes of his fiction, and reads the eldritch signs on the Master’s map.
Electronic version of the books (both PDF, epub and mobi) can be purchased bundled with the physical edition for a reduced price. Books will be shipped the week before public release.
